Grandparents' Marriage – Backup Request to Cattolica
Parallel request to Cattolica in case marriage was in Italy (per father's recollection). Outcome: Response was that marriage did not take place in Cattolica but in San Giovanni in Marignano. However, San Giovanni in Marignano indicated that was not the case but that instead the marriage took place in Colombelles. Columbelles later did seem to find the marriage certificate and sent it by postal mail (see Colombelles inquiry section).
